Cath lab or airport?

Ideally both but in a forced choice it would definitely be the Cath Lab, 24/7.

Specific problem in your own electoral ward you would like to see addressed?

Additional housing and expansion of Local Link transport services.

What’s your favourite album or book?

'The Hacker and the State – Cyber Attacks and the new normal of Geopolitics' – Ben Buchanan.

Why did you get into politics?

To make a positive difference in my community.

What’s your proudest achievement?

Every time that I get a good result for a constituent.

Potholes or cycle lanes – which would you invest in first?

Potholes, as there is limited scope for cycle lanes in rural areas.

Tea or coffee?

Coffee.

Your favourite blaa filling?

Ham/Bacon.

Biggest political influence?

I don’t have one.

Who makes the most dinners in your house?

I do

What one thing would you most like to see change in Waterford during your term if elected?

More decision-making powers transferred from central Government to local authorities. For example, in recent years, responsibilities for functions such as health services and water management have been moved from local authorities to central government and this has, in many instances, not been a positive experience
