Waterford drama shortlisted for national award
Mea Culpa was written by Nicola Spendlove and Gayle Corrigan. The play was directed by Jim Nolan.
Waterford radio drama Mea Culpa has been shortlisted for the 2026 IMRO Awards.
Nicola Spendlove and Gayle Corrigan wrote the drama, and Jim Nolan directed it.
The story follows Clara as she comes to Waterford to find her birth parents.
The results are as funny as they are heartwarming.
Nicola Spendlove stars alongside Greta Rochford, Michael Power, Angie Goma and Lisa Kennedy.

Damien Tiernan is up for Speech Broadcaster of the Year Local/Regional.
Déise Today- The Fuel Crisis 2026 is nominated in the current affairs category.
And Bitter Lanes: The Active Travel Fallout is shortlisted for the Interactive Speech Programme Award.
The winners will be announced at the event at the Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny, on Friday, October 2.
