One of the most highly anticipated accolades presented each year in the Waterford News & Star Green Room awards is the one presented for the Lifetime Achievement category.

The highly coveted award recognises people who have contributed to the creative arts and world of theatre in Waterford in a way that has left an indelible mark on hundreds if not thousands of people throughout the county.

This year's winner - as revealed in the video below - was selected by our expert adjudication panel that was composed of: Pat McEvoy (Waterford News & Star Arts Correspondent), Mary Frances Ryan (Waterford News & Star Editor), Michael Grant, Des O'Keeffe and Sarah Jane Cleary.

This year's winner is truly worthy of the accolade in every way.
