WATCH: The Good Friday procession through the streets of Waterford City

A public procession of the Stations of the Cross took place in Waterford City on Good Friday, April 18.
The procession was led by Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan and it began at St John's Church, Parnell Street, at 4.15 pm. Additionally, St Paul's and Butlerstown parishes offered the Stations of the Cross at 12 noon in St. Paul's Church and a solemn commemoration of the Lord's Passion also took place in both churches at 3 pm.
In leading the procession Bishop Cullinan carried a cross through the streets with the procession being a number of ceremonies held to mark Holy Week.
