The final span of the new bridge is put in place.
The final piece of the new sustainable bridge in Waterford City has been lowered into place.
Around 8.20pm on Wednesday, the mighty Hebo 9 lift placed the northern approach span.
The bridge took a total of five days to install, with locals and visitors coming out to watch from the Quay.
The Waterford News and Star had a particularly good vantage point.
