Hundreds of people gathered at the heart of Waterford City recently to protest against the ongoing failure of the State to provide adequate education for children with additional needs.

The protest was held as part of an ongoing campaign to raise awareness around the issue both locally and at national level.

Parents from Waterford also recently travelled to Dublin to bring their campaign outside the Dáil.

Watch a video below as they highlight their concerns and their children's rights to a full and adequate education.

Watch a video below as one student gives a moving and very powerful speech imploring the Government to provide everyone with their fundamental right of access to education.
