Twins charged with John’s River assault remanded in custody
Twins Dale and Derek Brazil (both 31), appeared by video link at Waterford District Court in relation to an attack that occurred at St. John’s River earlier this month.
The court heard that Dale Brazil of 14 Butterfield Drive, Mountneil, Waterford City and Derek Brazil of 29 Knightsgrange, Lacken Road, Waterford, have been in custody since June 12.
Bail was refused for both men.
They were charged by Garda Séan Lane with section three of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
They are due to appear in Waterford District Court via video link on July 9.
Their solicitor, Ken Cunningham, informed Judge Staunton that they were due to appear before the High Court on Thursday, June 25.
