Kilmacthomas Women's Group held a Tea Morning on Wednesday, April 30, for Alzheimer's Day

A community group in County Waterford held a very successful tea morning recently in support of a very worthy community organisation.

Kilmacthomas Women's Group held the event in aid of Alzheimer's Day.

The tea morning, supported mainly by group members, local residents and supporters, raised €600 for the organisation.

One of the organisers commented: "This is our third year holding the Tea Morning, and we are delighted to share these fundraising efforts."

The event featured various activities, including a raffle and guest speakers who highlighted the importance of Alzheimer's care. All funds raised will be used to support local Alzheimer's care initiatives in Waterford.

The proceeds from the event was presented to Maire, on behalf of the Alzheimer's Centre in Waterford, who expressed sincere appreciation for the efforts of all involved.
