Safety measures on the way for West Waterford section of N25

New safety measures are to be implemented on a West Waterford section of the N25.
Waterford City and County Council Director of Roads Gabriel Hynes told Dungarvan-Lismore District Council at the September meeting that he had discussed issues at Rings Cross with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).
“The filter lane there to the left, I have discussed it with TII. I’m of the view that from a safety point of view it would be better to remove it, and I’m hoping we can get that work carried out over the next couple of months,” said Mr Hynes.
The director was responding to a query from Dungarvan Councillor Kate O’Mahoney.
