Public Active Travel consultation events planned in Waterford

Two Active Travel consultation events are set to take place on Tuesday, April 29.
The events are to seek the views of the public on the proposed construction of traffic calming and pedestrian measures outside St John of God National School on Passage Road and a new active travel project on the Inner Ring Road.
The Safer Routes to School Scheme at St John of God National School event will take place from 9am to 11am.
The Inner Ring Road Active Travel Scheme event will be from 2pm to 4pm.
Both will be held at St John's Pastoral Centre, St John's College, John's Hill.
Those who cannot attend the events can still make a submission through the council consultation portal.
The consultation process for the Safer Route to School will open on April 23 and close on May 7.
For the Inner Ring Road project, the consultation process will open on April 23 and close on May 21.
