Portential jobs boost as national hiring day returns to Waterford
The national hiring day event will take place on June 18
Ireland’s leading home care provider, Dovida, is inviting people in Waterford to explore new opportunities in care during National Hiring Day on Thursday, June 18.
The Waterford event is part of a nationwide recruitment initiative aimed at growing the company’s dedicated care team to meet the increasing need for a diverse range of professional, high-quality home care supports.
People attending will have the chance to speak directly with Dovida staff, learn about a variety of caregiver roles, explore available job opportunities, and receive guidance on training and career progression.
“Our expanding range of services is opening up new opportunities for people in home care, whether they’re new to caregiving or an experienced professional,” said Steven Tubbritt, Dovida Waterford General Manager.

The event in Waterford will take place on Thursday, June 18, at Dovida Waterford, located at Unit 3, Cleaboy Business Park, Old Kilmeadan Road, Co Waterford (X91 H5FE).
It will be held from 10am to 4pm Time: 10am – 4pm.
Dovida Caregivers provide a range of vital services that empower people to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
Those services can include assisting an older person who needs some help around the house or supporting someone who has a disability to attend events in the community.
