Plans revealed for new car rental hub in Waterford

The construction of a car rental hub is being planned by developer Noel Frisby.

The project is being developed Holycross, Butlerstown, on the outskirts of Waterford City.

The car rental hub will consist of a single storey office building along with an adjoining canopy to be used as a car wash/valeting bay.

45 car parking spaces are planned, which will include electric vehicle charging and disable access spaces.

A new entrance to the development will be constructed from the R680.

Waterford City & County Council have deemed the application ‘incomplete’, and so additional information will need to be submitted before the development can progress further.
