The performance of 'Da' was extremely well attended in Ballymacarbry Community Centre.

A community centre in County Waterford was buzzing with excitement recently when a local theatre group staged yet another barnstorming production.

Ballymacarbry Community Centre was treated to another night of amazing drama courtesy of Brideview Drama Tallow.

A full house meant the pressure was on for the first-ever public performance of 'Da' by this group.

However, it wasn't a problem for this group of exceptionally talented people who delivered yet another unforgettable experience for the Ballymacarbry audience. 

As one local commented: "A standing ovation was a fitting tribute to the group at the end of the night."

All connected to this event in Ballymacarbry expressed gratitude to Brideview Drama Tallow for the making the huge effort to bring the play to their area.

"It is enormously appreciated, especially given that all proceeds from the event go to such worthy causes," said one of those involved.

"We wish the group all the luck in the world as they bring this production back home to Tallow for performances on February 7th, 8th and 15th," she added, before commenting: "For anyone who could not source a ticket for the Ballymacarbry show, get yourself to Tallow."

Gratitude was also extended to everyone who bought tickets, helped with the set-up of the hall, served food and teas, sold raffle tickets, stewarded in the carpark, sold tickets, donated raffle prizes, erected road signs and flyers, and those who carried out ushering duties on the night.

"You all made this night what it was, an outstanding success," said one of those invovled.
