A money laundering case involving a Waterford man in his 30s will be heard before Waterford Circuit Criminal Court.

Christopher Hutchinson (32), of 68 Farran Park, Waterford, was charged with money laundering contrary to Section 7 of the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010.

A book of evidence was served during a court hearing on February 9 of this year in relation to the case, following a video interview with Gardaí.

Mr Hutchinson was given an alibi warning by the judge during the most recent sitting of Waterford District Court, where the court was told Mr. Hutchinson's case would go forward for trial to the Circuit Court, listed for October 10, 2026.
