MEP discusses Waterford infrastructure at local meeting

MEP, Cynthia Ní Mhurchu, was the guest at a recent meeting of the Fianna Fáil Comhairle Ceantair in Waterford during which a number of important issues were discussed.

Commenting on the meeting to waterford-news.ie, Fianna Fáil Councillor, Eamon Quinlan, said: "Topics under discussion were the development of key infrastructure projects in Waterford such as Waterford Airport and the Port of Waterford."

Cllr Quinlan said other matters discussed including ongoing European preparations due to the war in Ukraine, international trade and the EU's response to America's trade war.

Other topics outlined by Cllr Quinlan as having been discussed at the meeting include: "The importance of cash in the economy and public spending on the South East of Ireland as a whole."
