Man charged over fight outside Wetherspoons in Waterford city
A man appeared in court last week over an altercation involving a group of males that took place outside what was formerly Wetherspoons in Waterford city.
Mounir Khateeb (35), with an address at Apartment 1, 67 O'Connell Street, Waterford, appeared in Waterford District Court charged with Affray on April 28, 2025.
On the day of the incident, gardaí were alerted to a group of males punching outside the premises on Arundel Square.
Members of the public and gardaí separated the males involved.
Khateeb was identified as one of the men allegedly involved.
The man appeared in court last week with no solicitor.
He was remanded on continuing bail until April 28.
