Man (32) broke into Waterford flats
O'Neill has 103 previous convictions.
A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 months imprisonment for trespassing, theft and breaking the terms of his temporary release.
Danny O'Neill, of no fixed abode, was granted temporary release from Cork Prison in January 2026. He stole six cans of Karpacki lager valued at €10 from the Centra on John's Street, Waterford city.
On February 13, he committed a Section 6 public order offence on John's Street, breaking the terms of his release by "not being of sober habits".
On March 25 this year, O'Neill was seen breaking into Priory House apartments at 5.45am. A neighbour alerted the Gardaí and O'Neill was arrested at the scene. In June 17, he trespassed into Thomas Court Apartments.
In Waterford District Court, it was stated that O'Neill had 103 previous convictions.
