Landscaping plan for North Quays is 'comprehensive'

Waterford's North Quays are currently being developed.
Councillor Seamus Ryan requested clarification from the Council at the July Plenary meeting regarding the residential offering at the North Quays upon its completion.
Cllr Ryan asked for "the breakdown of the number of units and the number of affordable social housing units", adding he'd "also like to know what is being done to soften the whole area as regards the environment and greenery".
The Council's response was that the detail of the breakdown of units was not available to hand but that it will be circulated, in addition to it being available on the submitted planning application. The website states there'll be circa 135 "affordable and private residential apartments".
Michael Quinn confirmed there's a "comprehensive landscaping plan for the area", which includes a cycleway and walkway along the river and microparks between apartments.
