Just one person aboard the Tramore plane crash

It has been confirmed that there was just one person on board the light aircraft that crashed in a field near Tramore earlier this afternoon.
It is understood that the person has sadly passed away.
The person's identity has not yet been confirmed.
The Vulcanair P68 crashed at around 12.50pm on the approach to Waterford Airport near Lisselan on the R685.
It is understood that the plane was originally due to fly from Sligo to Beziers, France.
Air crash investigators have arrived on the scene.
