At around 8:10pm on Saturday December 6th, gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of the collision on the R132 at Dowdallshill.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.

It has been confirmed that there was just one person on board the light aircraft that crashed in a field near Tramore earlier this afternoon.  It is understood that the person has sadly passed away. The person's identity has not yet been confirmed.
