International activists and artists banded together for peace at Waterford's All Together Now festival

Greta Thunberg was welcomed to Waterford's All Together Now festival with a standing ovation from a packed crowd of festivalgoers Saturday afternoon, at the festival's first ever 'Messages of Peace' event.

Speaking at the afternoon concert, international artists and activists banded together in solidarity of Palestine for a packed crowd of supporters.

Festivalgoers heard live music and speeches from well-known musicians and activists, including Irish activist and TV producer Leila Doolan, Irish Palestinian singer Róisín El Cherif, Palestinian doctor and MSF volunteer Abu Abed, A Lazarus Soul's Brian Brannigan, Dublin singer-song writer Sorcha Richardson and world famous activist Greta Thunberg.

Palestinian flags were abundant at this year's festival, not only at the peace concert, but throughout the weekend.
