Shakespeare Review 2026: Macbeth in Theatre Royal
The review will be staged on January 20 to 23.
Theatre Royal Waterford's annual Shakespeare Review for 2026 will take place from Tuesday, January 20 to Friday, January 23.
The review is aimed at Sixth Year English students and features 'Macbeth'.
It will be staged on the aforementioned dates at 10am and 12.30pm daily.
A spokesperson for the theatre said the show will feature a professional cast and crew and the production will present key scenes from 'Macbeth' interlaced with an enlightening, linking commentary.
"It is designed to animate and elucidate the play for senior cycle students in the run up to their Leaving Certificate," said the spokesperson.
Some shows are already sold out and the remaining shows are selling fast.
With that in mind the theatre is advising people to book tickets without delay, to avoid disappointment.
