Gardai celebrate Ballybeg's 50th in Waterford

Members of Waterford Gardai were delighted to get the opportunity to help celebrate one local community's 50th anniversary in the city recently.
In an online post on their social media page the force noted that Garda Iain and Garda Michael from the Community Policing Unit were delighted to be invited to celebrate 50 years of Ballybeg.
'The Community Sports day showcased the best of young people from Ballybeg, most notably in St Saviour's Crystal Boxing Club,' said the Gardaí in their post online.
That was followed by street games, face painting and plenty of Ice-cream.
The Gardaí acknowledged the local committee in Ballybeg who have been organising events throughout the summer to showcase the best in community spirit in their area.
