Gardaí issue witness appeal following car crash in Dunhill late last night
Two teenagers have been transferred to hospital following a road traffic collision in the Dunhill area late last night.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred at Reisk, Dunhill, Tramore, Co. Waterford late last night.
A single vehicle collision involving a car occurred at approximately 11:55pm last night, with the road remaining closed this morning for technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators, with local diversions in place.
A man in his late teens who was a passenger in the car has been transferred to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A second passenger, a woman also in her late teens, was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, a Garda spokesperson has said.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, and were travelling in the area of Reisk, Dunhill, Tramore Co. Waterford between 11.20pm on Tuesday, September 8 and 12:20am on Wednesday, September 9, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
