Gardaí investigating six burglaries from homes across county Waterford
All six burglaries occurred over the past week and gardaí asking for anyone with information to come forward
Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries across county Waterford over the last week.
Four burglaries were reported on Tuesday, March 10, in Hackettstown, Portlaw, Stradbally, Ballyvoile and Ballyneety, Dungarvan.
The houses were broken into during the day and ransacked.
Items of jewellery and cash were stolen from the houses.
CCTV has been obtained, and Scenes of Crime Gardaí have visited the properties.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
The fifth incident occurred between March 8 and 12 at a home in Kildalton.
The perpetrators entered the shed and stole a large amount of gardening equipment and tools.
Gardai are asking anyone who might be offered a Stihl Leaf blower, Stihl Chainsaw MS170 and a Stihl hedge strimmer and a Karcher K4 Power Washer to contact the Mooncoin Garda Station.
The sixth burglary occurred on March 14 at 8.45pm on Union Road in Kilmacthomas.
CCTV footage shows three males at a house, which was entered via the rear of the property.
Gardaí ask that if you were in the area and observed anything that might assist the investigation to contact the Crime Unit at Tramore Garda Station.
The gardaí also encourage people to report any suspected crimes by phoning 999/112 or their local Garda Station.
