Gardaí investigating robbery seek public information.

Gardaí in Waterford are seeking the assistance of the public in investigating a robbery on Ashe Road.

At approximately 10pm on March 9, two males were walking a dog on Hennessey Road.

They turned onto Ashe Road, and one man was approached by a group of five males who punched and kicked him.

When he was on the ground, they stole his bag, which contained a mobile phone and cash.

They then headed toward Lisduggan.

The main instigator of the assault was wearing a grey tracksuit bottom, trainers and a black Nike Puffa jacket.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist in identifying the attackers.
