Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil neck and neck in Waterford

70% of the total boxes have now been opened at the count centre at SETU.
Early indications show Sinn Féin with 34.43% of the tally, followed by Fine Gael at 18.96% and Fianna Fáil at 18.04%.
David Cullinane has maintained his early strong showing, with John Cummins and Mary Butler neck and neck.
Meanwhile Conor McGuinness and Matt Shanahan are in strong competition with one another.
In Dungarvan, Conor McGuinness has 42.6% of the votes so far with 78% of the boxes open in that area.
In Portlaw and Kilmacthomas (Comeragh) area, Mary Butler currently has 24.8% of the vote, with 30% of the boxes in the area opened.
John Cummins (18.4%) and Matt Shanahan (17.5%) are in the lead in Waterford City East with 71% of boxes opened.
Cullinane is doing very well in Tramore, where almost 90% of the boxes are opened.
