Visit Waterford have selected 30 finalists for their photography competition #DiveIntoWaterford.

#DiveIntoWaterford was announced in May 2024 as part of Visit Waterford's summer campaign, to encourage visitors to the Déise to capture moments and share them on social media.

The exhibition will be hosted online at VisitWaterford.com and on the Visit Waterford Facebook page, where the public can vote for the winning photograph.

Across the exhibition are wonderful photographs capturing Waterford at its best, from photos of the Comeraghs Wild Festival by Peter Bijsterveld, or a child splashing in Tramore, taken by Barry Nikki.

Culture Night

All of the images will be showcased at Mount Congreve Gardens in a #DiveIntoWaterford exhibition, which will be officially opened on Culture Night, Friday, September 20, where the winner will be presented with their prize.

This event is open to the public and the exhibition will remain open for viewing for one week from September 20.

The eventual winner will be awarded an overnight stay at Dooley’s Hotel in Waterford, and a day out for themselves and three of their friends so that they can dive into all that Waterford has to offer.

They will be treated to a great day out in Waterford, beginning in the city with four Freedom of Waterford passes from Waterford Treasures, followed by brunch for four at The Stables Café and a jaunt to Tramore.
