Farronshoneen roundabout review to be published this month

The Farronshoneen roundabout was raised at a recent meeting of the Metro Council.

Councillor Declan Barry (Independent) said: "As we all know, the initial traffic survey was done on the area when schools were not in full use. So we requested a second one and I believe it is to take place in September and we will be expecting it in October. 

"I would just like the confirmation of that and see where we are. People in the area have been very patient and, indeed, very frustrated as well."

A member of the Waterford Executive confirmed that the review would be published in early October. The roundabout has been open for 18 months but has caused a wave of complaints from road users and locals over its layout and structure.
