After nine memorable years one of the most popular cafés in the Waterford area has closed its doors.

The Everbean Cafe, located in the Marine Point building at Belview Port closed on May 30.

Very much known as as a local hub for coffee, conversation and connection, the café was a cherished part of everyday life for many, in the Belview Port, Slieverue and Ferrybank areas.

Owners Audrey Gladney, Kai and the Everbean team expressed heartfelt thanks for the support and loyalty of their customers over the years. 

It was also pointed out that while the café itself was closing a new chapter was also emerging for the team who will continue to serve their coffee through their Hatch 21 Coffee Van.

In an online post it was also revealed that a new project is also in the works.

Everbean’s signature coffee bags will also still be available for purchase. 

Port of Waterford also acknowledged the contribution made by the café to the community in Belview Port over the last nine years and in an online post commented: "Thanks Everbean Café for keeping us fed and watered over the years, with your great food and fab coffee. You brought great vibrancy to Marine Point office building, in the heart of Belview Port, home to Port of Waterford, and many other businesses."

"We wish you the best in future ventures," said Port of Waterford in its social media post.
