Emergency services currently fighting blaze in Waterford
Units of Waterford Fire Service attending the scene of the fire in Kilbarry.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a blaze on the outskirts of Waterford City.
A derelict building which once was a cash and carry, is alight with smoke bellowing through the Kilbarry community and at least six units of Waterford Fire Service are in attendance at present.
The public are being asked to avoid the area and residents in the area should close all windows and doors.
An Garda Síochána has road diversions in place.
It's not yet known if any injuries have been reported or how the fire began.
