A man who pleaded guilty to stealing an E-scooter in February has failed to provide compensation to the victim, a court has heard.
Callum Aldridge (26), of 49 Ard Cluain, Gracedieu, Waterford, pleaded guilty to the theft of the e-scooter from the vicinity of Hennessy's Centra on Merchants Quay. The value of the device is approximately €500.
He was previously given the opportunity by a judge to provide €500 in compensation. However, last week the court was informed that the money has not been provided by the man.
Mr. Aldridge’s suitability for community service will now be assessed.
