Two digital skills training workshops will take place in County Waterford in two locations in the coming weeks.

In collaboration with Waterford Wexford Education and Training Board, Solas and REACH fund, Dunhill Multi-Education Centre will be delivering Digital Skills training to those who might need to up their confidence in safely using their Smartphones or tablets.

A spokesperson for the centre said everyone is welcome to join in the training and learn how to make safe use of smarphones and tablets.

Training sessions will be delivered in small groups to make sure the participants can have a rewarding experience and enjoy a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.

The training sessions will take place at Dunhill Multi-Education Centre on September 11, at 10.30am and in Kilmacthomas at the Rainbow Community Hall, on September 16, at 10am. 

Participants will be encouraged to bring their own smart devices, however, tablets will be available for participants to use during the classes if people are considering evaluating moving to a smart device.

The spokesperson said the training is being made possible through Waterford Wexford Education and Training Board, Solas and REACH fund.
