Details into attack on woman in Waterford provided in court

Details into an alleged incident of assault were provided before a judge at Waterford Courthouse last week.
On May 24 at 1:30pm, gardaí responded to a call concerning an alleged assault in the Ballybeg area. Upon arrival, they met a female who had bruising and a cut on her head. She told gardaí that she was punched and pushed to the ground by her partner, causing her head to bleed.
Jurisdiction to the District Court was accepted, and the matter was adjourned for further hearing to December.
