Crews from three stations attend domestic fire in Waterford City

The Waterford City Fire Service, along with crews from Tramore and Dunmore, recently attended a domestic fire in the city.
In a post on social media, the fire service said the Green Crew and retained fire fighters attended the incident, where conditions were “difficult” and extra manpower was needed so as not to exhaust firefighters.
“Without stating the obvious, the aim with attending Domestic fires is to minimise fire damage and fire spread in a property, so both external firefighting and internal firefighting took place with the help of our turntable ladder for that aerial advantage,” wrote the Waterford City Fire Service.
