Craft your heart out at this year's All Together Now in Waterford

One of the best, but perhaps lesser-known attractions at the annual All Together Now Festival is its cornucopia of crafts.
The festival is not only about music and performance but also about learning, curiosity and creativity.
At last year’s festival, we visited the Green Crafts Village and chatted to some of the craftspeople showcasing their wonderful talents.
We spoke to Waterford’s own Michelle Dunne, a jewellery maker based out of Kite Design Studios on Henrietta Street.
Michelle’s workshops sold out all weekend, so let that be a warning to this year's festival goers to book spots early.
Michelle summed up what made the craft village such a special feature at the festival.
It’s relaxing; it’s nice to come away from the madness, sit down and focus on one thing, getting lost in the flame and the torch,” said Michelle.
Lieneke from In the Sticks was at the festival with her bug hotels, offering eco-warriors and nature lovers young and old space to make and chat.
“They start to chat; it's relaxing, it’s almost therapeutic. It's just where people can wind down. Even if they are strangers, just sitting there, they start chatting with each other.
“It creates a very nice atmosphere while they are working away at it,” said Lieneke.
Similarly, woodworker Éanna McEnally, delighted festival goers with his restored lathe, grandfather's tools and demonstrations of tree ring painting.
Dublin-based wood-carver Mark Flannery said his craft had been a big hit with the children at the festival.
But said the craft village is a little oasis of chill for adults and children alike.
“It adds a chill vibe to this area and the festival. Everyone comes into the craft village,” said Mark.
It looks like there are some very exciting events on the craft front of All Together Now 2026.
Festival goers can paint the day away, design their own ATN Tote bag or try their hand at pottery.
Those feeling very confident at the wheel might enjoy the pottery showdown on the Saturday.
But for others, the Craft Olympics or Homer Simpson look-a-like competition might just be their vibe.
