Children's Viking Tour returns to Waterford for summer

The Children's Viking Tour is returning to Waterford for the summer to take young adventurers on a journey of epic tales from a city steeped in Viking culture and history.
A spokesperson for Waterford Treasures said the immersive 30-minute tour will be designed to engage and inspire young explorers in the heart of the Viking Triangle.
"Along the way, they will hear incredible stories of seafaring Vikings and the epic battles fought - they'll even meet a Viking," she said.
Starting at the Viking House, the young adventurer will receive a toy sword to keep, before setting off on a journey through history.
"The tour continues to the impressive 40-foot replica Viking longboat next to the iconic Reginald's Tower, where even more fascinating stories await," said the spokesperson.
The tours will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, throughout June, at 2pm and throughout August, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, also at 2pm.
Adult & Child ticketsare priced €9.50 pp with children under 5 getting the tour free-of-charge. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are priced €35.

All tours start from the Viking House, 10 Bailey's New St., Waterford (X91A0PF).
