Voting is now open to the public for the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards People’s Choice Award.

Voting commenced today, Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, and will remain open to the public to cast their vote until Monday, February 24, at 12 noon, via the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards web page.

The winner will be unveiled at the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards gala event in Theatre Royal on Sunday, March 2.

The shortlisted 12 were chosen by the Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards adjudication panel, which includes representatives of Waterford theatre and arts, and Waterford media personnel, with an in depth knowledge of the vibrant Waterford arts and cultural scene in our city and county.

The judges include Pat McEvoy, Mary Frances Ryan, Des O’Keeffe, Michael Grant and Sarah Jane Cleary.

Voting closes on Monday, February 24, at 12 noon.

The Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards take place in the Theatre Royal on Sunday, March 2 at 8pm. They are kindly supported by our lead sponsors Cantec Group and Waterford Credit Union, with additional support from Waterford City & County Council, Sanofi and FLI GLobal.

Including over 100 nominations, more than 30 awards will be presented on the night, across a broad spectrum of categories, encompassing Waterford’s diverse arts, theatre and cultural scene.
