Apartments planned for County Waterford 

The development of five, one-bedroom apartments is in the works at a premises on Main Street and St Anne’s Terrace in Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford.

A planning application was submitted last week by Abbeyside Developments Ltd.

The submission outlines that in order to facilitate the apartments, the site must undergo a change of use from retail to residential.

The existing retail unit will then be renovated to facilitate the five apartments, including renovation to the existing facade along with waste management area, bicycle storage area, reconnection to public sewer and all drainage and ancillary works.

The building is located in an architectural conservation area.

A decision is expected to be made by Waterford City and County Council on or before March 6.
