€650 of products stolen from Elvery's in Waterford city
The judge credited the woman for taking positive steps and placed her on a probation bond.
A woman appeared in Waterford District Court in recent weeks in relation to the theft of products worth €650 from Elvery’s on Michael Street in Waterford city centre.
The incident took place on April 15, 2025.
Elle Fitzgerald (21), of 112 St. Herblain Park, Waterford, appeared in relation to the theft. There were a number of co-accused in relation to the matter and Ms Fitzgerald was not the only person before the courts.
The group were identified via CCTV.
Ms Fitzgerald was also in court over a public order incident that took place at Pearse Park on a separate date.
Her solicitor, Kenneth Cunningham, said that Ms Fitzgerald has engaged positively with probation services since the incident and she has no previous convictions.
The judge credited her for taking positive steps and placed her on a probation bond.
She was also ordered to undertake an alcohol and drug awareness programme.
