Antoinette Coakley said she will do ‘everything’ she can for a Wicklow hospice after it arranged a wedding in her husband’s final weeks.

The event was part of Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning, the main annual fundraiser for hospice and home care services nationwide

The Hollywood star said it was the way he ‘really felt at the time’ after witnessing ‘unacceptable’ treatment at a hospital.

This week the hospice said it was having to cut a number of bed places due to a bleak financial outlook.
