Approximately 2,500 walkers ascended onto Waterford city over the weekend for the annual Darkness Into Light walk, raising vital funds for Pieta House, the suicide and self-harm prevention charity.

Thousands participated in 5km walks across 197 locations in Ireland and abroad, raising funds for Pieta, the suicide and self-harm prevention charity.

The event was held in July and was a great success
