Former Love Island star Maura Higgins will take part in the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, it has been announced.
The Irish TV personality will compete in the upcoming series of Dancing With The Stars.
She said: “I’m so excited, get me on the dancefloor, I want to win the trophy!
“I’m so excited I’ve manifested this, please pray for me!”
Higgins shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019 but has since forged a career in the US, where she hosts the spin-off of the US version of Love Island, Aftersun.
She also recently competed in the US version of The Traitors, where she finished as a runner-up as a faithful.
She made headlines for forming a close bond with fellow contestant Rob Rausch, who was a Traitor and ultimately stole the prize money in the final, leaving her shocked.
Higgins will compete on Dancing With The Stars alongside reality star Ciara Miller, who has also been the subject of recent headlines after her ex-boyfriend West Wilson started dating her best friend Amanda Batula.
The trio, who appear on the Hayu show Summer House, were at the centre of internet controversy over the relationship drama.
Miller was photographed slumped on a New York pavement looking distressed after West and Batula released a statement confirming their romance.
She has since been offered public support by stars including Lena Dunham, Alana Haim and Jon Hamm, while Rihanna unfollowed Batula after the news broke.
