Farming: IFA launch Refer a Friend competition in Waterford
IFA has maintained a membership base of more than 1,800 in voluntary members in Waterford.
The Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) has announced the launch of its Refer a Friend competition, giving members an opportunity to help grow the association while being in with a chance to win some incredible prizes.
When an existing IFA member successfully refers a friend who joins the association, both the member and their friend will be entered into a draw to win: A brand-new Toyota Hilux; a €2,000 FBD Insurance voucher; and one-year subscription to the Irish Farmers Journal, including both print and digital access.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity each month to win one of eight annual print and digital subscriptions to the Irish Farmers Journal.
IFA Waterford County Chair, Mark Connors said: "This competition is a great opportunity for our members to showcase the strength of our association and the many benefits of being part of the IFA.
IFA has maintained a membership base of more than 1,800 in voluntary members in Waterford through its representation of farmers across all sectors, the supports it provides, and its membership benefits package.
"We invest significant time and resources in supporting our members and ensuring their voices are heard at every level," Mr Connors said. "This new Refer a Friend initiative is an innovative way of encouraging our existing members to help attract new members to the association and strengthen our collective voice.
"I would encourage all members to get involved and start referring today. To refer a friend, simply visit ifa.ie/raf, generate your unique referral link, and share it by email, text message, or WhatsApp with friends, family, and fellow farmers."
IFA National Treasurer, Patrick McCormick, added: "We encourage our members to bring their farming friends into the fold. Every new member strengthens our organisation and enhances our ability to advocate effectively for farmers across Ireland. The stronger our membership, the stronger our voice."
The Refer a Friend competition reflects the IFA's commitment to strengthening the association and "ensuring that farmers have a powerful and united voice at local, national, and European level", according to Mr McCormick.
