Southend FC Academy for children from 4 years to 6 years on Friday night 6.15 to 7.00pm. All the children from the area are welcome to come along. Cost €2. Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30 to 6.45pm for under 13, 14 and 15 years.
Deepest sympathy to Rosie O'Driscoll, Ballybeg Close, and all the O’Driscoll family on the death of a much loved husband, brother, grandfather and uncle David O'Driscoll, Cannon Street, and formerly of Blake's Lane and Connolly Place, who died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Waterford Nursing home on Tuesday, September 24. His remains lay in repose at Thompson's Funeral Home on Friday, September 27, with vigil prayers and rosary.
David's Funeral cortege walked from the funeral home to the Holy Family Church on Saturday, September 28, for requiem mass celebrated by Fr Jerry Langford PP followed by burial in St Otteran's cemetery, Ballineesagh. His funeral passed by his residence on route to the cemetery.
Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Kitty, and his brothers Dennis and Patrick, he is also survived by his wife Mary, daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Micheal, grandson Joseph, brothers Tom, John, Peter, Joe, Gerry and Benny, his sisters Rita, Catherine and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Deepest sympathy to the Barry family on the death of a much loved husband, father and grandfather, John Barry, Larchville, who died on Monday, September 23, peacefully in the wonderful care of Oak Ward, South East Palliative Care.
Formerly of Talbot Street, Tramore, and late of Telecom Eireann, his remains lay in repose at Thompson's Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26, with vigil prayers and rosary.
His remains were removed from Thompson's to St Paul's Church, Lisduggan, on Friday, September 27, for requiem mass celebrated by Mons. Pat Fitzgerald PP, followed by burial in St Declan's Cemetery, Tramore.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Kate and his sister Sheelagh, he is survived by his wife Madeline, his daughters Anne and Martina and his son Thomas, sons-in-law Tom and Micheal, daughter-in-law Claire, his five grandchildren, brothers Brendan, Micheal and Tom, sisters Ann and Cora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, especially Dorothy, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
