Last week's winner of our 'Predict Your Time' 4k league was Sarah O'Callaghan. Well done Sarah and thank you to Tom and Nuala Dunne who were last week's sponsors. Also congratulations to the members of our club who completed the Aglish 5k on the Easter bank holiday Monday. Races are back, if you would like to get started, our 'Predict Your Time' league is still on for a couple of more weeks.
See you all next Monday night at 7pm.

Credit to the Dalton family who recently presented Waterford Hospice with a cheque for the huge amount of €66,315 in honour of their late mother, Nell. Last year, the Dalton family's fundraising event 'Hike For Nell', where they were joined by family and friends from Touraneena, Modeligo, Colligan, Dungarvan, Kilgobinet, Ballymacarbry and even further afield, saw them climb our highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, in Co. Kerry.
It was a tremendous success. Combined with monies donated from Little Bob's Tractor Run and The Danny Norris Trust, along with an auction by the Finnisk Drag Hunt Committee, a huge sum of money was raised. A big thank you to Dalton Family and all the people behind the scenes who helped to contribute in any way.

Congratulations to James Connors, formerly of Ballinagulkee, Ballinamult, who was chosen as referee for the National Hurling League division 2B final between Derry and Tyrone.

We extend our sympathy to the Fitzgerald and Tobin families on the recent passing of Kathleen Mary Fitzgerald (née: Tobin) Vestal, New York and formerly of Reanadampaun, Ballinamult, Whilst Kathleen had been in America for many years, she never forgot her roots and was well known and liked in the parish of Touraneena. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband William P Fitzgerald and her siblings Alice, Paddy, Johnny and Mary.
We extend our sincere sympathies to her children Kevin, Eileen, Patrick, Joann, Brian and Kathleen, sons-in-law Michael Dempsey, Tom Carle and John Hein, daughters-in-law Eileen and Tracey, sister Biddy Flynn, 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
