The late Tanya Power

It is with deep sadness that we record the death of Tanya Power, Ceol na Mara, Kill and formerly of High Street, Stradbally, on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Tanya was predeceased by her loving brother Adrian and deeply regretted by her heartbroken partner Ben Holden, her children Scott and Dean, her parents PJ and Breda Power, her sister Yasmin, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Tanya's reposing was held at Drohan's Funeral Home Dungarvan on Sunday, September 15, from 4pm - 6pm where large numbers of relatives, friends and neighbours paid their respects.

Tanya's Funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Church, Stradbally, at 12 noon on Monday, September 16, 2024. The mass was celebrated by Fr. Edmond Cullinan, PP, assisted by Fr Garrett Desmond, PP, and Fr Michael Enright. The music and hymns were provided by Robert Weldon.

Symbols of Tanya's life were brought to the altar at the beginning of mass narrated by Kavan.

Melissa brought a photo of Tanya's boys, Helena brought Tanya's earrings, Rebecca brought Tanya's pink panther bag, and Amy brought Tanya's hair straightener.

The readers of the liturgy were Aoife White and Marie Curran. The Prayers of the Faithful were shared by Noleen, Marie, Melissa, Nicola, and Natasha. The Offertory Gifts were brought to the altar by Rosemarie and Teresa. Tanya's friends and sister Yasmin shared her Eulogy. Following the final prayers and favourite song Tanya was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Tanya's partner Ben Holden, her boys Scott and Dean, her parents PJ and Breda, her sister Yasmin, her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours, and a large circle of friends. May Tanya rest in peace.

Congratulations

To Emily Murphy, The Comeragh's, Stradbally, daughter of Damien and Martina Murphy, on recently qualifying as a Psychiatric Nurse. Following in her parents footsteps in the caring profession.
