Stradbally Tidy Towns Committee has organised a dedication ceremony for the Fr Condon Memorial Bench at the Village Green in Stradbally for Sunday, July 21, at 3pm. Fr. Edmond Cullinan P.P will officiate. We hope for some lovely summer weather for this community occasion.
Waterford Sports Partnership brought Playful Streets to Stradbally at Comeraghs Estate on Tuesday, July 9, where there was plenty of fun and games. Play brings people together and community life is enriched, and this initiative allows people to connect with their community.
The market was back last Saturday. There was a great variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, home-baking, jams, marmalade, relish, juices, local cards and prints. There was also a steady stream for tea and coffee and scones at the Cove Bar when the shopping was completed. You can preorder any of the above by calling Margaret on 087 6337215. The market will be back again next Saturday at 10am with the best of fresh produce.
