St Paul's Church in Waterford
A very happy 10th birthday is wished to Jack Corcoran, Fairfield Drive, Belvedere, who celebrated his birthday recently. Birthday wishes come to him from his mam and dad, Elaine and James, his grandad Paul Dower, Meadowbank, his grandmother Mary Corcoran, Ballybeg Park, his great-gran Betty Dower, Priory Lawn and all his aunts and uncles and many friends.
A very happy 5th birthday is wished to Ceilie Murphy, Ballycashin, Butlerstown who celebrated her birthday recently. Birthday wishes come to her from all her family, especially her mam and dad, Aoife and Larry, her big sister Ella, her brothers Rian and Tadgh, her grandparents Al and Anne Murphy, and Billy and Dorothy O’Sullivan.
The academy is taking a break and will return in September. We are taking names for next season and hope to see you all back training with us again.
St Saviour's GAA are holding a Bingo Night on Tuesday, July 30 in the Forum. Tickets are priced €10 each and can be had from any Juvenile Committee members of the club. Doors open at 7pm and eyes down at 8pm. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Her many friends in the Ballybeg area were saddened to hear of the death of Wendy Coyne Rellis, Kilcohan Park and formerly of Ballybeg who died on Sunday, July 14.
Her remains lay in repose at Tom Hennessy’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, and Requiem Mass was celebrated on Thursday, July 18, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ballygunner. She was predeceased by her father Raymond and is survived by her partner Mark Coyne, her sons Keith, Scott, Sean and Aaron, her daughter Abbie, her mother Ann, sisters Sarah and Laura, brothers Philip and Kenneth, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Mass times in St Paul's are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am, Saturday Vigil at 6pm and on Sunday at 8.30am and 11.30am. Mass in Butlerstown is celebrated on Friday and Sunday at 10am. The Parish Office can be contacted at 051 357730 on Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 12.45pm
Rosary takes place at the grotto of Our lady of Lourdes, Belvedere, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6.30pm. Intention to pray for vocations to the priesthood for the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. This will continue until October.
Mass times in St Saviour's are daily at 10am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, on Sundays at 8.30am, 11am and 5.30pm.
Baptism takes place following the 11am mass at 12pm. A weeks notice is required and the parish office can be contacted by email at stsaviourspo@outlook.com or by phone on 051 3776032.
The parish office is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm for all your spiritual needs. Fr Grant PP is available after mass on Sunday to take booking for masses or any information you may need.
