Birthday wishes in St Saviour's
A very happy birthday is wished to Christina Hoare, Ballybeg who celebrated her special day on Thursday, June 20. Her family and her many friends send their best wishes to her.
A very happy birthday is wished to Breda Elliott, Ballybeg Close, who celebrated her special day during the week. Birthday wishes come to her from all her family and especially all in the Edmund Rice ARA, of which Breda is a member.

Deepest sympathy to the Murphy family on the death of their mother Margaret (Rita) Murphy (nee: Manning), Comeragh Estate who died on Wednesday, June 19.
Her remains lay in repose at Thompson's Funeral Home on Saturday, June 22, with vigil prayers and rosary followed by removal to St Paul's Church, Lisduggan, for reception. Rita’s funeral cortege walked from Fr Gregory Power Way on route to the church. Requiem mass was celebrated on Monday, June 24, followed by burial in Kilbarry Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband Philip, her mother and father Patrick and Mary Manning, her brother, John Manning and sister, Kathy Holmes.
She is survived by her daughter Juin Montague, her sons pat, Ken, Paul and Philip, her nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, Juin's partner, Micheal, daughters-in-law Gillian, Diane and Mary, sister Mary brothers-in-law nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
The family would like to thank the staff carers and nurses in the Kilbarry Care Centre for the wonderful kindness and compassion given to Rita it was greatly appreciated.
St Saviour's GAA club's Little Saints meet every Saturday in St Saviour's GAA pitch. The sessions take place from 11am to 12noon and are aimed at children aged between 5 and 8.
All boys and girls from Ballybeg and the surrounding areas are more then welcome to attend. Hurleys and helmets are supplied if needed. All in the club would like to congratulate all the Mount Sion team who won the under U14 Shield during the week. There are a number of the lads from St Saviour's on this team.
The Southend FC Academy meets at 2.30pm in their pitch for boys and girls age between 5 and 9 years. The cost of the session is €2 and all boys and girls are welcome to attend.
Deepest sympathy to the family of Thomas (Tom) Bradfield, Lismore Park and Larchville, who died on Tuesday, June 18. A former manager of the Trustee Savings Bank and St Bridget's, Yellow Road, his remains lay in repose at Thompson's Funeral Home on Friday, June 21, with vigil prayers and rosary. Requiem mass was celebrated on Saturday, June 22, in St Paul’s Church, Lisduggan followed by burial in Kilbarry cemetery.
Tom is survived by his partner Pauline and his sons Nathen, Elijan, Abbey and Daniel, neighbours and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
The parish Mass times for St Paul's are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am. Saturday Vigil Mass at 6pm and Sunday Mass at 8.30am and 11.30am and Butlerstown on Friday, at 10am and Sunday at 10am.

A Grotto Rosary takes place each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6.30pm at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, Belvedere. This time of prayer began in May and will continue until October. All are welcome to join in.
St Saviour's Parish Shop is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12pm.
Mass times during week days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10am and Sundays at 8.30am, 11am and 5.30pm.
Baptism takes place at 12pm each Sunday and a weeks notice must be given please contact the parish office.
